What separates these cars are 20 years, 100,000 miles, two turbos, $55, and a typo on the badge. Which would you buy?
First up is this 1993 Toyota Supra with a price of $26,900. Leather seats, an automatic transmission, 105,000 miles, no ricer wing (it almost looks naked) and twin turbos. !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!!
Second option is the 2013 Scion FR-S. Brand new, 6 speed manual, cloth interior, no turbo. $26,845. Not much more to say. !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!!

I would have to base my decision solely on looks. I love the Supra look so much more than the FRS. I don't dislike the FRS but I think the Supra just looks a lot nicer (and looks unmolested by ricers).
Edit: Although, I would take the FRS wheels and stick them on the Supra.

FR-S. Because clutch pedal and amazing handling.

My 27k goes to the FR-S. I love the supra, but its not a car I would drop 27k on when it has 100k miles. That, and I think the FR-S has a decent chance of becoming a modern day Supra.

I'd have to go with the FR-S. As much as I love the Supra, the 100k scares me. The FR-S will definitely cost less and has a manual.
Ah screw it, I love the Supra and would probably prefer it. I bet it has a decent resale value to!

thankfully they're the wrong PCD, the Supra is 5x114.3 and the 86 is 5x100
otherwise you'd be removing 8 inch wide rims in favour of 7's.

How could I ever pass up the chance to own the Supra, a timeless piece of art and beauty that will forever.........oh wait it's an auto? Yea I'll take the FR-S.

Excellent question. One of the first 'which would you rather' car choices in a looooong time that really made me think. FR-S, but barely. The Supra is probably the better car, but the auto must make it tremendously boring to drive.

More than $55.

In other words, you don't want to risk another lynch mob for having an automatic Supra?

Bundle of snakes, no thanks.

I saw one of those yesterday, and those old 300Z's still look damn good.

I'd have to go with the FR -S. $27k for a 100k mile car is way too much. I'll go with sporty and new.

Keep in mind that Auto mean less chance of F&F'd/riced of a car. I would buy an auto turbo in a heart beat and build up courage for a tranny swap.

FR-S.
You'll spend $27k on the Supra, another $5-6k on wear and tear items, 1600 on rear tires, tens of thousands on mods (because no one can resist modding a 2JZ-GTE), and thousands more on speeding tickets. And it will never be as lively or tossable as a Toyobaru.

Scion because manual transmission. And who knows how hard the Supra was hooned before you got it.

it's rare to find an unmolested Supra in the wild, and I almost would go for the supra just so it can keep its pride, but in the end the Scion wins.

I'm going against the flow here and going to say supra.
reason?
they simply dont make then anymore.
sure, it has 105k miles on it. but its a mid 90's toyota....its a friggen tank.
slap on a decent set of rims, a TRD body kit, and if u want to sell it in 10 years time, u'd more then get ur money back on it
